Skiing Anyone?

Fall is a funny time, no?
It is the end of the summer and all the freedom that comes with long days and warm weather. As we move deeper into Autumn there is a general sense as to the end of something, we ponder our year, consider what we’ve done and meant to do, and even take stock of our lives. It is a changeover, the natural end of a cycle.
And then it snows! The sooner, the deeper and the drier …the better.

I don’t know about all of you, but I am super motivated for snow. New boots are on the way, my skis are being eyed with a growing feeling of fondness, and the guidebooks have been consulted. I am not alone in this, Matthias Larcher just called to discuss the Grossglockner Tour. A four day tour from our house to the highest peak in Austria. I’m in.
But first, it needs to snow.
